今までの作品がもれなくロングセラーとなったJoaquin Joe Claussell & Ron Trent主宰[Sacred Medicine]から、第5弾となる待望の新作が到着。今回はRon自身がAngel Figueroaと当店おなじみのPablo Colorをフィーチャーした作品。パーカッシヴなリズムやジャジーなメロディー、空間的な音響処理などが融合した13分越えの大作に仕上がっています。実際に針を落してみたところ、今まで以上といえそうな際立った鳴りでした。なお、パープルカラーのジャケットは初回入荷分のみで、次回はブルーに変更となります。大推薦盤！(Morihiro)

Another standout chapter in the Sacred Medicine catalogue, this latest release sees Ron Trent at the helm once again. This time featuring master percussionist Angel Figueroa (Herbie Hancock “This is the Drum” ) and multi versed guitarist Pablo Color.

The track unfolds through layered rhythms and melodies that feel light yet deeply pulsating, carrying both elegance and intensity. Its rich, evolving arrangement balances a strong percussive drive with a sense of space and musicality, revealing new details with every listen.

On the flipside, a more acoustic “Suite” version offers an alternate perspective, highlighting the composition’s organic textures and depth.

A record that speaks to both dancers and attentive listeners alike, and another meaningful addition to the ever-consistent Sacred Medicine catalogue.
